This is another website where I am a member. This site is all about poetry and all of us are writers and poets. This site is based in UK and most of the members are really good poets/writers. However, the site manager is trying to keep the site by having a few members for the meantime because it is only new and still on the verge of "re-constructuring" the site. Although, you can visit it and many poems are already posted there.

What is poetry?
According to Wikipedia.org: Poetry is a form of "literary art". It may be written independently as poems, or it may conjur to some arts like "poetic drama, hymn or lyrics".

In the Shadow Poetry, a website related to this subject, said that no one has really defined poetry. They define poetry as "the art of writing thoughts, ideas and dreams into imaginative language..."

As you can see, since the very beginning, people like Aristotle had defined poetry and as time goes by, many definitions aroused. Personally, for me, poetry is a kind of art where you express your thoughts, ideas and emotions in a creative way where man have difficulty in expressing it verbally.

About the writers
Like I said in the introduction, I will be posting some works or poetries my friends have written. But before I will post them, I would like to tell you where I met them.
The first online community for writers that I joined in is Webook.com while the second one is WritersCafe.org. In here, there are many talented young and young at heart people who definitely compose beautiful poetries, stories and even books!
Sad to say, in my site, I will only be posting the poems and short stories which they made. I would like to remind you, these writings are copyrighted so please do not plagarize. :)

As we have known, many blog sites are emerging today and becoming more popular. However, most people, like me for instance, use these sites as a journal or a diary while other people merely use it as their means of extending a helping hand to others. For example, they use it to post their business opportunities and the likes.
Honestly, I made this blog to help me and my other friends to expose their written pieces so other people can also appreciate the talents these young and young at hearts have done. Of course, the written works are copyrighted so no one can just copy them without the permission of the writers themselves. So, please stop plagarizing and ask permission from these people because they have spent most of their time, talent and ideas in making these works beautifully written.
Besides of the written works of unknown writers and poets, I will also probably post some educational researches or lectures for all of you.
Oh! One more thing, I might add some topics that are not relevant with writing, though. I hope that you'll enjoy reading (and commenting) on them. =)
